I was born and raised in the island of the Philippines. My sister and I grew up living a happy, healthy, and simple life- mud floors, not marble; hand drawn paper dolls, not Barbie; capiz windows, not glass. This type of lifestyle have always been and will always be the subject of my illustrations: nature and pure simplicity. No fancy embellishments or details, just simple lines and warm earthy color palettes. I'm a self-taught illustrator and my creative loving mom taught me everything else I know.
